Failure is not an option

  1. Good news from Silver Birch. These dear folks have just posted another poem of mine. The thing of interest to other poets., performers, and folks in general is this: this poem wash originally drafted for a contest , ekphrastic using an oil painting of lemons. When  it was rejected by that contest,  I rethought the concept of the bowl of lemons, favorite lemon sweets and reworked it into the poem silver birch liked for their sweet words assemblage of poems. But without the initial failure, rejection by the go test I thought I had really clinched, I might not have had the current success.  Needed to have my thinking progress to , as it is with lemons themselves, to find the sweet spot in what might seem too sharp or sour at first.

Here’s the post.
