Revised site coming

Will give more thorough announcement in the New year.
For now, just a thought on how the creative process can carry love through generations. My recently accepted poem, Postcard, was inspired by a postcard sent by a favorite teacher, a religious sister, when she as transferred to Kentucky. By sharing the poem, I hope to bring forward her love for all of us, her sense of duty, and well,
Here is what instead on the Ursuline Academy website:
“So very many years ago, when the merger was made between Pittsburgh and Louisville, my favorite sister, Sister Bernadette was sent to Louisville. I told her I would miss her and she, knowing of my love of horses, sent me a postcard from Kentucky of race horses in a field.
Now, a poem I just wrote about that postcard has been accepted into an anthology coming out in 2015, published by a Kentucky Press, Finishing Line press. I wanted to tell her about the poem, but she already knows. She has been in heaven for several years, I discovered . Help in finding more about her came from the motherhouse in Ky. Just a little bit ago, a post was made that the last link in the merger was gone. The last of the sisters alive at the time of the merger has gone to be with our Lord. But the post was wrong. The links remain strong in the hearts of all of us who went to Ursuline in a Pittsburgh, even in the heart of one who was 11 at the time of the merger.
Blessings to all girls and women touched by the love of Christ through the wonderful godly Ursuline sisters.”
